Thank you! We opened our doors on February 1stand we were quite pleased to receive visitors from Greenwich and throughout the CT, NY and NJ area. We look forward to hosting our official Grand Opening party this April 4th !
How did Roche Bobois choose to open a shop in Greenwich? 
Greenwich residents have been long-standing loyal Roche Bobois clients of our New York, New Jersey and surrounding showrooms, so it makes perfect sense for us to have a showroom located right in the heart of the Greenwich Design District. We are now able to introduce our collections to a wider audience of design enthusiasts.
For those who are not familiar with your business. How would you describe your style?
Art and Life! The Roche Bobois‘ mission is to bring inspiration, know-how and people together. To make a piece of furniture means to create a “L’Art De Vivre”. Each Roche Bobois piece has its own unique personality; combining the talent, boldness and inventiveness of a designer, with your own style and creativity. Whether you prefer a subtle customization or a thorough one, we offer a choice of shapes, colors, leathers, woods and finishes that make each furniture piece unique, exclusive and truly designed for you.
What do you foresee Greenwich loving in particular?
To name just a few…the Scenario, Preface, Profile and Satellite sofas, the Astrolab table, the Lift bar collection and of course, our iconic Mah Jong modular sofa. Of course there are so many pieces and we’ve done our best to make sure that we offer the most important pieces from our current Roche Bobois collection.
We love the Mah Jong collection. What is your favorite piece that you’d like to bring home with you?
Beyond the look of the Mah Jong, what I love most is the wide range of customization-creating interesting seating combinations from the available fabrics – including your own! From the Missoni fabric collection featured in the showroom, I personally love the double layer lounge chair and not to mention the Outdoor version which will be launching in our latest Spring / Summer Collection. With the adjustable headrest seatback, this is a perfect chair for reading or catching up on my favorite Netflix series.
What is your favorite local place to grab a bite to eat?
There are just too many great places in Greenwich, making it impossible for me to pick just one. It really just depends on what I’m in the mood for that day. For those less familiar with Greenwich, I highly recommend just taking a stroll down the Avenue to explore what Greenwich has to offer.
